Naomi Judd, who was born in Ashland, Kentucky on January 11, 1946, had her daughter Wynonna when she was 18 years old.
According to a PBS biography, she gave birth to Ashley and attended nursing school in California before returning to Kentucky and eventually Nashville with her family, where she and Wynonna got a recording contract as the Judds, a country duo.
